University of Oregon College of Education
I worked in the College of Education from March 2019 through March 2021. I primarily focused on generating ideas for social content, and then drafting and posting via FalconIO. In April 2020, I also began writing stories highlighting the incredible research our faculty conducted. This role allowed me to improve my interview and writing skills, as well as get some of my articles published.

Social Highlights
I drafted these two posts for the COE that performed significantly better than our average posts.

Teacher Appreciation Month Campaign

The COE previously had not posted about Teacher Appreciation Month on social media. In May 2020, I launched a campaign celebrating professors in our college as well as students studying to become educators. Over the course of the month, I highlighted ten students and teachers on Facebook and Instagram.
The 10 posts averaged 25 reactions, 3 comments and 4 shares. The highest performing post – Alice Viles – got 50 reactions, 9 comments and 11 reactions. In April 2020, our posts averaged 28 interactions; these 10 posts alone averaged 32.
